The
seller's teleport facility provides the uplink for both data
and video and consists of three medium sized Vertex Ku-Band
antennas, 6.1M, 7.0 M and 7.2 M. Each is equipped with full
featured motorized antenna control systems and gas fueled
de-icing systems.The teleport is available January 1,
2010 and may be purchased where is, as is. The teleport
equipment may be removed by the buyer, or arrangements can
be made to operate within the existing infrastructure. The
potential for such an in-place operation would make
available this fully licensed, fully redundant teleport
located in an area of optimum footprint for all domestic US
satellites. This alternative would take advantage of such
features as redundant fiber optic IFL paths and backed up
power services.
Within the teleport, and associated with the antennas are
two 20 Ft. X 8 Ft. modular RF shelters equipped with
environmental controls, security monitor points, AC wiring,
and through wall ducting for antenna waveguides and utilities. There is also an 18
Ft X 9 Ft. modular work shelter for system maintenance
purposes. All shelters are of steel with I-Beam construction
and secured to concrete pads.
The midsized Vertex antennas are all contained within a
security fenced area with restricted access.
The RF shelters associated with each antenna provide for
rack mounted uplink and downlink RF equipment, test and
monitor equipment, and a full range of antenna and uplink
power control systems.
Within the shelters are the patch panels for managing
connections between the antenna area and the adjacent
corporate offices. A fully redundant fiber optic system
provides the transport for the system IFL. about
